Rachael Kirkconnell's Must Haves Include a $4 Lip Liner and 'Mary Poppins' Backpack
Everyone's talking about Rachael Kirkconnell right now, and if you're even mildly plugged into the
"The one thing that helps me personally is reminding myself to be very patient with myself and take one day at a time," she says during a conversation about her partnership with Amazon tied to Galentine's Day. "That looks different every day," she continues. "Some days, I'm feeling great, and some, I'm just really not; I'm feeling lost, confused, overwhelmed, or just sad, and that's okay. Everything's still very fresh. The biggest advice I've gotten is just to really feel my emotions. They're normal. It's okay to be sad, but I'm trying not to harp on it too much because, in the end, it just takes time to feel better."
Right now, "taking it one day at a time" means leaning on her friends. Her inner circle celebrated Galentine's Day together, locked in a Vegas trip, and overall, have just been showing up for her. "It's extra special right now just to have all my friends there for me and in my corner." But don't get it twisted; while quality time out and about with her crew is a priority, Kirkconnell is a self-care girl at heart. "I would much rather sit in the house and have a face mask on and have my feet in some hot water instead of, like, going out and doing all the things." (We completely agree.)
True to that balance, her must haves are a mix of self-care staples (think: ice rollers and face masks) and travel essentials, including a backpack so spacious it makes her feel like Mary Poppins. The best part is that all of her favorites are available on Amazon and the majority cost well under $50. Check them all out ahead.

Rachael Kirkconnell's Beauty Must Have
Meet Kirkconnell's current lip liner obsession: Revlon ColorStay Lip Liner ($4, originally $8), which, lucky for us, happens to be on sale for less than we'd spend on, well, most things. "I feel like I've tried a million lip liners, but I just keep going back to this one," she says. "It's so creamy, but it actually stays on my lips. I feel like it's usually either one or the other, like, it's creamy and then comes off, or it's really crayon-like almost, but stays." According to her, this one delivers the best of both worlds.
Pro Tip: Kirkconnell calls herself a "really big drugstore makeup person," adding, "drugstore makeup is just as good, sometimes better." In other words: She's well-versed in the space; you should trust her.

Rachael Kirkconnell's Skin-Care Must Have
"I'm a really big ice roller gal," Kirkconnell says, sharing that her ideal morning routine starts with this pretty, popular, and pink Kitsch Ice Roller Skin ($18). While her coffee brews, she's known to grab it straight from the freezer and, as she puts it, "go to town," soothing her skin and tackling any puffiness.
Pro Tip: Yes, you can literally keep this ice roller in the freezer for an instant pick-me-up; just don't forget to clean it after each use.

Rachael Kirkconnell's Sleep Must Have
With nearly 8,000 five-star ratings, it's no secret that the Biodance Bio-Collagen Real Deep Mask ($19) has a loyal following, including, of course, Kirkconnell. She swears by it for self-care nights and travel (yes, she's been known to surprise a flight attendant by applying one mid-flight) and especially loves how it turns from white to clear once her skin's soaked up every last ingredient.
Pro Tip: Kirkconnell recommends sleeping in it; when she does, she says she wakes up with extra-glowy skin.

Rachael Kirkconnell's Travel Must Have
Kirkconnell certainly isn't the only one obsessed with the Vgcub Large Travel Work Business Backpack ($28, originally $30). She calls it her "Mary Poppins" bag because it fits everything and then some. "I see it all over the airport," she says. "I'm definitely not the only one that has it. I've seen girls in front of me in line wearing the exact same one, so you know it's good."
Pro Tip: While Kirkconnell insists this backpack is a must have for travel, she admits Amazon is full of finds worth raving about. She also recommends checking out the retailer's in-flight phone holders for hands-free scrolling and its endless selection of travel pillows.

Rachael Kirkconnell's Fashion Must Have
While celebrities often flaunt high-end timepieces, Kirkconnell is perfectly happy with her Berny Gold Watch ($54) from Amazon, calling it one of her "favorite watches ever." She wears it constantly, basically anytime she's in gold, she says — and yet, it still looks brand new. "It hasn't tarnished or gotten dinged up," she adds.
Pro Tip: For dupes and hidden fashion gems, Kirkconnell suggests using Amazon Lens, the retailer's visual search tool that lets you snap or upload a photo to find lookalike (or exact) products.
