Christian Siriano's Must Haves: From Skinny Jeans to Ashley Longshore Art

After winning the fourth season of "Project Runway", Christian Siriano took the fashion world by storm, dressing celebrities like Mindy Kaling, Ashley Graham, and Billy Porter.
The designer is known for incorporating colorful prints and patterns, as well as being size inclusive. And in his latest collection, presented on Thursday, Feb. 6 as part of New York Fashion Week's Fall 2025 shows, Siriano leaned into his love of cars as inspiration.

The presentation featured voluminous gowns, body-conscious dresses, and sultry suiting, all designed with flourishes that resembled familiar automotive features. Think tire-track patterns and jersey fabric crafted in the shape of oil slicks. The show's front row was packed with onlooking celebrities like Katie Holmes, Whoopi Goldberg, Danielle Brooks, and Julianne Hough.
In a conversation with PS, Siriano dished about his favorite product must haves, including the designer's go-to pick from his latest C. Wonder by Christian Siriano line. Christian Siriano’s Affordable Must Have
"I think a great pair of black jeans is just so important," Siriano says. He loves a pair of Mavi Jeans James Skinny Fit Jeans ($90, originally $128). These skinny fit jeans aren't uncomfortable either. They are made from a soft stretch denim and are extra fitted through the seat and thigh. The smokey dark wash goes with everything as well.
Pro Tip: "Sometimes the best ones are vintage or thrifted for 20 bucks," he says.

Christian Siriano’s Investment Must Have
"Well, this can be so many things, but maybe a really beautiful piece of art," he says. "I'm a huge Ashley Longshore fan and I think her pieces are just so fun! They make you think and laugh at the same time!" One of his favorite pieces is the Ashley Longshore Art #71 The Queen in the Giggle Juice on Gold Leaf ($4,850). This piece is made with acrylic paint and mixed media covered in heavy resin on a gallery-wrapped canvas.
Pro Tip: This piece would look stylish in a contemporary home near an at-home bar, or a den.

Christian Siriano’s Morning-Routine Must Have
"In the morning, I need my Aveda Control Force Firm Hold Hair Spray ($4-). It's something I use to finish off my look," Siriano says. This hair spray is nonflaking and fast-drying, offering long-lasting hold that stays put, even in humidity. Along with antioxidants, it contains UV filters to help protect the hair from environmental factors.
Pro Tip: Start off by lightly spritzing 10-12 inches away from your hair and build up and layer it one for extra hold.

"Funny enough I sleep on really silky soft sheets, and to be honest it's the Christian Siriano NY Cotton Sateen Sheet and Pillowcase Set ($47, originally $70), and it's the best," Siriano says. This 300 thread count sheet set is made from 100 percent cotton with a soft, smooth, and lightweight sateen feel. It comes with a fitted sheet, a flat sheet, and two pillow cases. You can get this in a variety of calming colors and sizing as well.
Pro Tip: These sheets are machine washable and feel softer the more they are broken in.
