If 2024 has been an especially hard year for you, you're not alone. Many people, including real estate agent and "Selling Sunset" star Chelsea Lazkani, feel that sentiment deeply. Season eight of the Netflix hit series was particularly contentious for the fan favorite, and on top of all that, she's dealing with major changes in her personal life. But as the old adage goes, it can really only go up from here.

"I've spoken to everyone [in my life], and everyone went through real roller coasters," Lazkani says. "This year has been really strange. But I hope this means a good, positive — financial positive, emotional positive, etc. — 2025."

You can chalk it up to the stars. Astrology fans know Pluto is entering Aquarius, a period of radical transformation — especially for the fixed signs, which includes Lazkani, as her birthday is January 26. During this period, positive change seems likely if we let go of the things that no longer serve us, and she has many things to look forward to.

First, Lazkani is returning for season nine of "Selling Sunset." While there's not much she can say about what to expect since the cast just started filming and she has yet to even be on set, she hopes to show more of the positives in her life, even with the lingering tension from last season. "I've grown a lot and have gone through many changes in my life. I would love to show a little bit of that growth," she says. "As everyone knows, I'm very heavy on boundaries — [hopefully I'll] stay out of the mess a little bit."

As for other upcoming projects that Lazkani has in the works, she says to definitely be on the lookout for something she's cooked up — literally. Referring to her love of cooking as her therapy, she hints at turning this hobby into something she can share with fans. "I love being in the food space, so there will definitely be more of me [there]," she says.

While we wait for that exciting news to drop, we asked Lazkani to break down her five wellness and beauty must haves. Scroll down to see what she has to say.

When it comes to makeup essentials, everyone needs a good lip pencil. For Lazkani, nothing compares to the Make Up For Ever Artist Color Pencil Lip Liner in Dimensional Dark Brown ($24). "It's the only lip pencil I like," she says. "I never have to think about what lip pencil I'm going to use because this just does what it needs to do every single time."

Pro tip: This pencil has great color payoff, with loads of pigment that stays on for hours to carry you through the entire day (or a fun night out).

Lazkani swears by one supplement in particular: the Armra Colostrum ($109). After experiencing bloating for the last eight months, "I started taking Armra [and] I don't suffer from bloating anymore, I sleep like a baby, and my skin is the clearest it's ever been," she says.

A few small studies have shown that colostrum, which is the first form of milk that comes from mammals after birth, may help with digestive health and muscle repair, but more research is needed to definitively show that the supplement is beneficial to our health in general.

Pro tip: She likes to eat a scoop of the powder dry, but you can also mix it with liquid or yogurt. As with any supplement, you'll want to consult with your doctor before trying it to see if colostrum is something you can safely incorporate into your diet.

Lazkani's beauty routine is fairly simple. She goes to Face Gym a lot for lymphatic drainage and sculpting massages for definition, and at home, she just uses a few key products combined with healthy drinking habits. "I think drinking water and minding my own business has helped me skin a lot," she jokes. "I definitely believe in 'less is more.'"

The few products in Lazkani's regimen include Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate Moisturizing Face Oil Serum ($57). It's made with a nourishing botanical blend that hydrates the skin, reduces the appearance of fine lines, and supports your skin barrier. "I pretty much use it every night," she says. "It feels so good on the skin."

Pro tip: Though it is an oil, it absorbs really quickly into the skin and is gentle enough not to cause breakouts or sensitivity on most skin types.

Yes, the Henry Jacques Musk Oil White ($770) is one hell of an investment, but Lazkani swears by it. It's a warm musk made with notes of mimosa, rose, and bourbon vanilla for a scent that she just loves. "I'm not the type of person who walks in a room and overpowers people in the way I smell. I like to introduce myself, give you a hug or handshake, and for you to go, 'Oh, you smell really nice,'" she says. "It's subtle. You get a whiff of it and be like, 'Damn, I want to come closer.'"

Pro tip: After having kids, Lazkani is very sensitive to scents and says this is the only perfume she can wear. She simply dabs the oil on her wrist and neck, and yes, it does last all day. "For [nearly] a thousand dollars a bottle, it better," she says.

Why choose between a lip balm and gloss when you can have both? Lazkani uses the Clarins Lip Comfort Oil ($30) every day to moisturize her lips while also reaping the makeup benefits of a nice tinted gloss.

Pro tip: Wearing tinted lip oil can help you instantly look put together even if you don't have time to go full glam. Lazkani likes to throw this on if she needs to quickly elevate her makeup look.
