Becky G's Must Haves: From a $19 Collagen Mask to a Béis Tote

When Becky G (short for Rebbeca Marie Gomez) released her third studio album "Esquinas" back in September 2023, the singer was lauded for her bold embrace of regional Mexican music with ballads like "Cries in Spanish" and collaborations with artists like Peso Pluma.
While the record marked the musician's first technical foray into the genre, in many ways, the project served as a return to form for Gomez. Her Mexican-American roots had already influenced much of her musical catalog.
"I have always identified as not this side or that side of the streets that raised me, but the corner where two flags, two cultures, two languages meet," Gomez said in an interview on Today at the time, touching on the ties between her Mexican ancestry and Los Angeles roots.
Now, with a decade-plus-long career under her belt, the singer wants to honor her heritage in all aspects of her life — namely, in her music (Gomez's latest LP, "Encuentros," is an even more introspective response to the prior album) and partnerships. Most recently, she collaborated with Patrón to celebrate the release of Patrón Cristalino in the United States.
"I feel like my relationship with Patrón, it started before Patrón Cristalino ever existed — it started before Patrón even knew that I existed," says Becky G. "As a Chicana growing up Mexican American, I'm very proud of my Mexican roots; tradition is really important to us. My family [and I], we've always been really big fans of Patrón tequila; on a personal level, [it's] just always been there."

Of all her product essentials, Gomez considers this Nin Jiom Pei Pa Koa Natural Herbal Syrup ($10) to be her "secret weapon" for staying healthy while on tour and beyond. "It is part of my tour every day. If I'm feeling a little under the weather, it just tastes really yummy. It's preventative as well as something to use if you have an itchy throat or if you're going to sing — I drink it in the studio."

No party is complete without Patrón Cristalino Tequila ($53) — at least according to Gomez. This particular alcohol features notes of vanilla, sweet caramel, and spicy fruits.
Pro Tip: While the singer notes that there are so many ways to enjoy this tequila, even she has her own drink preferences: "I love it on the rocks. I think this is a really great tequila to have alone, even warm; the flavor is just so rich in all the best ways. As a mixer, I'm a ranch water kind of girl. I keep it really simple — a little mix [of this] with some ice, club soda, splash of lime juice, and it's a wrap for me."
